Tayler Deamon, LMFT
Tayler is a primary therapist at Lido Wellness Center (LWC), specializing in the facilitation and design of various treatment groups for LWC patients at both the PHP and IOP levels of care. In this position, Tayler focuses on process-oriented and skills-based approaches, based fundamentally in an authentic, accepting, and empathetic relationship with LWC patients. Prior to LWC, Tayler has worked broadly with wide-ranging clients and settings, from providing affordable therapeutic services to adults struggling with substance abuse, to running group-based therapeutic experiences for individuals with PTSD.
Tayler’s preceding position involved providing therapeutic services to homeless veterans struggling with myriad mental illness diagnoses, compounded by the unique trauma inherent in military culture and experiences. Tayler’s favorite aspect about working with LWC is being provided the space and opportunity to form those authentic connections with patients.
Tayler is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced all forms of trauma and joining patients together on their journeys to healing. Employing this experience and interest in psychodynamic theory, Tayler often focuses on integrative approaches, utilizing proven intervention methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat patients. Through the creation of empathetic and human-first relationships with patients, Tayler helps patients feel seen, heard, accepted, and understood in their pathway toward healing. In the spirit of expanding the integrative philosophies that are foundational to LWC, Tayler is also training for EMDR certification.
Tayler incorporates wellness and self-care personally, by finding balance between engaging socially by spending time with loved ones, while also valuing quiet and reflective moments to rest and recharge. Tayler also enjoys various forms of exercise, especially skiing during the winter months.
