Strengthened Bonds:
Mental health family services in treatment helps rebuild trust and connection, fostering deeper relationships and support.
Having a loved one who struggles with a mental health condition can be a difficult experience for families to understand. Even more so, having that same loved one decide to seek help can bring up many feelings for a family member. Perhaps feelings of uncertainty, stress, fear, or even concern for how and when to best support your loved one.
At Lido Wellness Center, we recognize and acknowledge that it is not only our patients who come to our program for help, but often their families for support and understanding of what their loved one is experiencing. It is for this reason that every patient that comes to Lido Wellness Center is assessed upon entering our program around their need for family work. At Lido Wellness Center, we utilize a family systems approach which allows us to address issues at home by working with couples, parents, primary care takers, or other loved ones.
Mental health family services in treatment helps rebuild trust and connection, fostering deeper relationships and support.
Families gain valuable insights into mental health, creating a more empathetic and supportive home environment.
Involving family members provides them with tools to better support their loved one’s healing journey, promoting positive change.
Families and individuals grow together, working as a team to overcome challenges and build a healthier, more resilient future.
We believe in truly including the whole family in this work and understanding the perspectives of all family members involved. Our first step in this process is a brief initial meeting with our patient to gather family history and begin to develop a collaborative plan to support successful family therapeutic intervention.
Our aim is to provide the best possible treatment experience for our patients and also their families; therefore, we often also provide supportive coaching and therapy for the families of our patients to best support the recovery of our patients and their loved ones involved in their recovery journey.
