Mental Health Approach
Levels of care
Care that is…
Always Private, Always Comfortable
Lido Wellness Center offers Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) levels of care in a private, comfortable outpatient setting, where we help patients develop healthy life management skills with minimal disruption to their daily lives.
Lido Wellness Center understands the need to integrate the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health and wellness. We provide integrated whole-person treatment that is individualized and culturally relevant.
LEVELS OF CARE
PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)
Our priority is to create an individualized treatment program to enhance your personal behavioral health goals and introduce you to a community of integrated resources to support lifelong recovery. Our PHP offers a safe environment for individuals to begin practicing skills, targeting unhelpful patterns and implement strategies to improve emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships.
Our services include the coordination between clinical and medically supervised care. Services are provided Monday through Friday from the hours of 9AM to 3PM. Typically, participants can anticipate four weeks at this level of care, however, we carefully assess each patient to ensure that they are medically and clinically prepared for transition to a lower level of care. Participants can look forward to participating in the following treatment services throughout their stay in PHP:
- Two individual psychotherapy sessions per week
- Weekly psychiatric consultation and medication management
- Family and/or couples therapy
- Weekly medical consultation with registered nurse
- Group psychotherapy including:
- Process orientation and emotion regulation skills
- Psychoeducation
- Nutrition guidance
- Psychodrama

Levels of care
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)
We offer a comprehensive, therapeutic Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that is medically supervised and coordinated with clinical services. Treatment planning is individualized, and length of stay is variable depending on each person’s needs. IOP is indicated for those individuals who have successfully completed a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or those individuals that may need a bit more support than a traditional outpatient setting with weekly therapy and psychiatry can provide. Our IOP program supports participants in reintegrating back into their daily living activities, including work, school, parenting obligations and community outreach while practicing skills of ongoing stabilization and healthy living.
Services are provided Monday through Friday and depending on clinical necessity, often begin at five days per week with transition to three days per week. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 9AM to 12PM. Participants can look forward to engaging in the following services throughout their treatment stay:
- Two individual psychotherapy session per week
- Psychiatric consultation and medication management
- Family and/or couple’s therapy
- Case Management (as needed)
- Group psychotherapy including:
- Process orientation and emotion regulation skills
- Psychoeducation
- Psychodrama

OUTPATIENT TRANSITIONAL CARE
We understand that taking the step to get help and committing to mental health treatment isn’t always easy. That is why our team is here to support you in each step of the process. We recognize there are times when patients need continued support as they transition from PHP and/or IOP mental health care, so we offer our patients optional Outpatient Transitional Care Services.
The benefit of these services is to provide a smoother continuity of care by working with a Lido Wellness Center (LWC) therapist for 4 weeks, post discharge from PHP and/or IOP, before entering into outpatient therapy at home.
Outpatient Transitional Care Services include weekly sessions that focus on providing support and direction with anticipated challenges that may come up post-discharge, as well as tips on adhering to the discharge plan.
We take care in assessing patient eligibility for this service which includes being appropriate for an outpatient level of care and California residency.
