College can be a challenging and stressful time for many students. Between the pressure of maintaining good grades, building a social life, and figuring out your future career, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
If you’re struggling with your mental health as a college student, you’re not alone. Many students experience feelings of anxiety, depression, exhaustion, and stress, and it’s important to know that there are resources available to help you cope.
One such resource is Lido Wellness Center’s Virtual IOP program. This program is specifically designed to help college students manage their mental health and improve their overall well-being, all in a virtual setting.
The Virtual IOP program includes a variety of different components, including skill-building workshops, therapy sessions, and support groups. These components are designed to help you learn new coping mechanisms, improve your communication and problem-solving skills, and develop a more positive outlook on life.
One of the most beneficial aspects of Lido Wellness Center’s Virtual IOP program is that it is completely virtual. This means that you can access the program from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection.
This is especially useful for college students who may not have the time or resources to attend in-person therapy sessions. You’ll have access to professional therapists who can help you work through any challenges or issues you may be facing, as well as a community of peers who can offer support and encouragement.
The good news is that this program is largely covered by the Student Health Insurance Plan (USHIP), which means students who are enrolled in USHIP can have a significant portion of their IOP expenses covered by their college insurance plan.
The coverage offered by USHIP can include a range of services such as individual and group therapy sessions, medication management, and other treatments that are deemed medically necessary by a qualified healthcare professional.
